One of the roles of the Workforce Development professional is to be resourceful and creative in helping the customer to uncover, to recognize, and to articulate work histories and accomplishments on the resume.
At the end of this training you will be able to help targeted populations uncover and articulate skills, experiences, and accomplishments, define the purpose of a résumé, select the most appropriate résumé format, understand sections of the résumé, identify transferable skills, write an effective cover letter, write two complete résumés that address targeted populations – such as Welfare to Work Clients, Displaced Homemakers, Military to Civilian, Executives, Hi Tech, Ex-Offenders, Academia to Corporate.
